About Me
I'm a Toronto based full-stack developer with experience developing immersive & fully responsive web pages and applications, with a focus on writing clean, refined and efficient code. I also specialize in web and user experience design.
For the last few years, I have been working with the insurance tech industry building online web quoting tools for auto and recreational insurance. This has allowed me a unique opportunity to test and implement ways to guide users to an end goal while making it painless and efficient. I love finding new and exciting ways to solve design-based challenges.
When I'm not designing or coding, you can usually find me collecting archaic media formats and writing music. I'm also an avid tinkerer who loves finding ways to modify and improve old technology.

Insurance Jack
Overiew
Insurance Jack is a website and insurance comparison tool. Users can compare auto insurance rates from a number of carriers before getting in contact with a broker.
The front-facing website is a traditional server-side rendered site. This portion contains a custom content management system. The quoting tool is a JavaScript-based single page application allowing for real-time updates.
My role in this project was full-stack development, deployment and maintenance.

BrokerTeam Group
Overiew
BrokerTeam Group is a collection of websites and quoting tools that are cloneable and re-skinnable. This allows for the client to create new instances with different branding, colours, content and even languages. The client could then deploy the new websites and it would update the NGINX configurations automatically using the Forge API. The client would then only need to point the domain to the server.
The front-facing marketing website is a served via traditional server-side method. The quoting tool is a JavaScript-based single page application built using Vue.js.
My role in this project was full-stack development, deployment and maintenance.

Toyota
Overiew
Toyota Certified is a website to help potential customers find used Toyota vehicles in Canada. The website is built using the Microsoft ASP.NET framework.
One of the challenges with this website included it being built with the future of AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) Compliance in mind. Every animation, menu and page had to be completely useable regardless of disability.
My role in this project was front-end development.

Overiew
Medstack is a marketing website built using the Wordpress framework Themosis. It includes a modern responsive design featuring content pages, pricing quoter and blog.

Andrea Ashley
Overiew
Andrea Ashley is a custom e-commerce and marketing site built using Laravel. It features a custom content management system and inventory manager. Shipping calculations are handled by the Canada Post API. Payments for products would be made using the Stripe API.

Tip Top Auto
Overiew
Tip Top Auto is Laravel driven website with a custom content management system, user testimonials and vehicle inventory. The vehicle inventory is pulled in daily from AutoTrader. Using the VIN number we then pull in any additional specifications and details using the Edmunds API.
My role in this project was full-stack development, deployment and maintenance.
